Norwich City beat Reading 2-1 on Saturday as they pushed their unbeaten run to seven games in all competitions.
The Canaries could not extend their run of five clean sheets in-a-row in the Championship, but they were able to claim a third straight win away from home in recent weeks.
It caps off an excellent week for Norwich, who beat Middlesbrough 1-0 on Tuesday night.
James Maddison got Norwich off to the perfect start with a sublime free-kick into the top left corner, his second goal in as many games.
It didn’t take long for Reading to come back though, with Liam Moore peeling away from Cameron Jerome to head past Angus Gunn from a set-piece.
However, the man culpable of giving Reading their equaliser then popped up in the second half to win the game.
Maddison whipped in a good corner and Jerome was there at the back-post, unmarked, to power a header into the top corner.
Picking a man of the match has been easy, with one man standing out above the rest.
Our Norwich man of the match against Reading is… James Maddison!
The midfielder played his part in both goals – with a goal and an assist – and was superb on the ball throughout the match.
His twists and turns on the ball in midfield helped City to retain possession and push forward when needed.
The attacking midfielder is coming to the fore as a Norwich player and looks to be hitting his best form.
