Norwich City made club history on Tuesday night as they beat Middlesbrough 1-0 at The Riverside.
The Canaries kept their fifth clean sheet in succession in the Championship, a feat that has never been managed before in the history of the club – in any division.
Daniel Farke also becomes the first away boss to win at Middlesbrough in the Championship since January 2016.
James Maddison’s wonderful goal in the 13th minute was enough to secure all three points for Norwich.
Marley Watkins did brilliantly on the left before finding Maddison in space on the edge of the box – who then curled the ball into the top corner from 22-yards.
Angus Gunn preserved Norwich’s win late on as he made a terrific save. Lewis Baker’s free-kick for Middlesbrough took a massive deflection but Gunn reacted superbly to tip the ball over his bar.
