Norwich team news: QPR (H)
Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke has handed out the latest squad news ahead of his side’s clash with QPR at Carrow Road on Wednesday night.
Farke started off with some good news for City fans. Central defender Timm Klose could be fit to return for Norwich’s game against Millwall in under two weeks.
Klose has been out of action since picking up an injury against Cambridge in pre-season but looks set to return before the international break.
Jamal Lewis, however, is awaiting news on the extent of his knock.
Speaking to Norwich’s website, Farke said this:
There was a little setback with Timm, but probably he can start with team training next week.
Hopefully we can have him back for Millwall, but we’ll see.
Jamal still some problems with his knees. It’s still swollen, and he’s got a date with the specialist. Hopefully it’s nothing too dangerous, but we’ll wait for the diagnosis from the specialist.
Alex Pritchard has had a successful operation on his ankle and is set to miss 12 weeks, with an expected return date of late November.
Harry Toffolo has returned to training and played 45 minutes for the under-23’s, having been injured against Lowestoft in pre-season.
Harry can return to first-team training.
Matt Jarvis and Louis Thompson remain long-term absentees.
