Norwich City host Sunderland at Carrow Road in their first home game of the Championship season on Sunday.

Daniel Farke’s men come into the game off the back of a 3-2 win over Swindon in the League Cup on Tuesday.

Goals from Cameron Jerome, Wes Hoolahan and James Maddison secured he victory, with Norwich drawing Charlton at home in the next round of the competition.

Norwich kicked off their Championship season last weekend with a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage against Fulham.

A late equaliser from Nelson Oliveira secured the draw, but it was the ensuing celebration from the striker that was the real talking point.

Oliveira was left out of Norwich’s squad to face Swindon and Farke refused to comment on the situation after the game.

But Farke has confirmed that Oliveira is in contention to face Sunderland, who have a very good squad themselves.

How would a combined Norwich and Sunderland XI look? Here’s ours…
