Norwich are one of a number of Championship clubs vying for Chelsea defender Jake Clarke-Salter.
According to the Daily Mail, Norwich are interested in bringing Clarke-Salter on a season-long loan for next season.
The report claims that Clarke-Salter will sign a new four-year deal with Chelsea before being loaned out for the 2017/18 campaign.
QPR, Preston, Hull and Leeds are set to rival Norwich for his signature, with all four clubs looking to mount a promotion campaign.
The 19-year-old played 12 times for Bristol Rovers on loan last season, as he made his breakthrough in the professional game.
The central defender was also a member of the England under-20 World Cup winning squad this summer.
Norwich completed their seventh signing of the summer earlier today. The club announced the arrival of Marcel Franke from German side Furth.
He joins Angus Gunn, Harrison Reed, Mario Vrancic, Marley Watkins, Christoph Zimmermann and James Husband in signing for the Canaries this month.
