Ivo Pinto has been ruled out of action for four weeks and will miss all of pre-season, Daniel Farke has revealed.
The City head coach has confirmed that Pinto’s injury is serious and will see him out until the start of the Championship season. (See below)

Pinto could even miss the opening game of the campaign away to Fulham on August 5th.
This would leave Russell Martin as the obvious contender to start at right-back, with Farke also confirming that the skipper returned to training today. (See below)

Pinto featured in the second half against Cobh Ramblers in the opening pre-season fixture, but was absent against Lowestoft and Stevenage.
His injury is said to be a hamstring strain.
