Declan Rudd signs for Preston
Norwich City have officially confirmed that goalkeeper Declan Rudd will sign for Preston North End on July 1st.
Rudd will sign for Preston when the transfer window opens, joining the Championship club for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old has had two previous loans at Preston and will now go there to become their first choice in the second division next season.
Rudd leaves Norwich after spending his whole career to date with the Canaries. The shot-stopper has been with the club since he was ten and has gone on to feature in the Premier League.
Norwich announced the signing of Angus Gunn on a season-long loan from Manchester City earlier this month, leading to Rudd wanting a move away from the club.
We reported earlier this month that Rudd was frustrated by the signing of Gunn and was eager to sign for Preston, which has now been officially confirmed and completed.
