Norwich City goalkeeper Declan Rudd will complete his move to Preston North End next week.
According to The Lancashire Evening Post, Rudd will have his medical and officially become a Preston player after this week.
We broke the news earlier this week that Rudd was keen on a move to Preston and that the two clubs were working to agree a fee.
Since then, Preston have ironed out a deal with Norwich, thought to be in the region of £500k.
Preston are now waiting for Rudd to return from his summer holidays so that he can complete his medical and sign over the dotted line.
We understand that Rudd is eager to sign for Preston and gain regular Championship game time.
Rudd was frustrated by the signing of Angus Gunn from Manchester City on loan, as he saw John Ruddy leaving as his chance to become the number one of his boyhood club.
