Norwich City caretaker manager Alan Irvine has warned Timm Klose over speaking openly about his future with the club.
Klose’s Norwich City future is currently up in the air following an apparent falling out with former manager Alex Neil.
Before his sacking, Neil told Klose that he could find a new club and had excluded him from the last two matchday squads.
Klose revealed a lot of details in an interview with a Swiss website, which Irvine does not appear to be too best pleased with.
Speaking to the Pink’Un, Irvine said this:
Look, I think the players should wait for things to settle down before speaking about their futures.
The fact is anybody could come in here as a new manager and look at the squad and make decisions from that point. I wouldn’t think there is any player here who should be ruling themselves in or out at this moment, in terms of next season. It could well be that the person who comes is the biggest fan of Timm Klose that you could get, in which case, he probably wants to keep him here.
The Swiss international has been maligned by fans in recent matches for a couple of costly errors, but Klose has been impressive in spells this season.
Klose has won three of our Read Norwich player of the month awards so far this season, for November, October and January.
Norwich face Barnsley this weekend and Klose is expected to feature.
