Norwich team news: Nottingham Forest (H)
Norwich City manager Alex Neil has handed out the latest squad news ahead of his side’s clash with Nottingham Forest at Carrow Road tomorrow.
Neil started with some positive news. Graham Dorrans, who has been missing since Boxing Day, is a matter of weeks away from returning.
The midfielder suffered ligament damage to his ankle against Reading last year and is now working his way back up to full fitness ahead of his return.
Speaking to Norwich’s website, Neil said this:
(It’s) very good. He’s out on the grass doing running, so Graham now is at a stage where he’s building up his fitness levels but he’s still a few weeks away.
Alex Tettey will serve the second of his two match suspension – meaning he will be available against Newcastle on Tuesday night.
Youssouf Mulumbu is expected to start in his place, with Dorrans and Louis Thompson both out injured at present.
James Maddison will also be absent, after he picked up a back injury in training.
Matt Jarvis is fit and could make his long-awaited return to first-team action.
Steven Naismith will miss out with a hamstring injury.
