Rotherham 2-1 Norwich: Rating the Canaries
Norwich City slumped to yet another predictable defeat as they lost 2-1 to Rotherham today.
The Canaries travelled away to face the side bottom of the Championship expecting a win but were, instead, put to the sword by Paul Warne’s side.
The home side took the lead after just seven minutes. Steven Whittaker was easily beaten on the wing and Yates finished well after a cross into the box.
Nelson Oliveira was then sent off for Norwich after hitting out at a Rotherham defender in the box.
Substitute Cameron Jerome did eventually bring Norwich level when he headed in Hoolahan’s cross but the forward had already missed a number of easy chances in the match.
However, it took Rotherham just four minutes to respond as former Norwich player Tom Adeyemi headed home after Whittaker was beaten on the wing again to make it 2-1.
