Norwich team news: Fulham (A)
Norwich City manager Alex Neil has handed out the latest squad news ahead of tonight’s trip to play Fulham at Craven Cottage in the Championship.
Neil started with some bad news – Youssouf Mulumbu will be missing once again. The defensive midfielder has been absent in recent weeks with a knock, which will also keep him out of tonight’s clash.
Speaking to Norwich’s website, Neil said this:
With Youssouf, his fracture hasn’t healed as quickly as we would have liked but hopefully that won’t be too long.
Robbie Brady, however, is fit to play. Brady missed Saturday’s win over Rotherham with a head injury sustained on international duty, but is ready to feature tonight after training recently.
Robbie has trained this morning and will come into the squad.
Jonny Howson also watched from the sidelines against Rotherham, and Neil has confirmed that the Norwich vice-captain will be in the stands once again.
However, I don’t think Jonny is going to be quite ready. That’s unfortunate for us.
Howson picked up a knock in training last week, which is set to keep him out again today.
Matt Jarvis is still the only long-term absentee, and is not expected back anytime soon as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.
