Norwich pushing for Sinclair loan
Norwich City are pushing to sign Watford striker Jerome Sinclair on season-long loan deal, according to Sky Sports Transfer Centre.
The report says that Norwich are one of three Championship sides keen on a loan move for the centre forward, who isn’t set for game-time with the Hornets.
The 19-year-old striker is too far down the pecking order at Watford to foresee regular game-time this season, which has led to the option of a loan move away from the club.
Sinclair joined Watford this summer on a free transfer from Liverpool after his contract with the Jurgen Klopp’s side expired. However, Watford were made to pay £4m as compensation, due to his age.
The striker has played just six senior matches in his career to date, scoring one goal in the FA Cup for Liverpool to date.
Norwich are looking to complete the signing of Sinclair on loan before tonight’s deadline.
