Norwich City complete the signing of Oliveira
Norwich City have officially completed the signing of Nelson Oliveira from Benfica on a four-year contract.
Oliveira joins Norwich on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee, having completed his medical and agreed personal terms over the weekend.
It was originally thought that Oliveira would join on loan, with a view to purchase, but Norwich have indeed completed the deal as a permanent transfer.
The striker scored one goal in ten Premier League games for Swansea in the 2014/15 season, before scoring nine Championship goals for Nottingham Forest in just 29 games last season.
The Portuguese international has 16 caps for his country, and is still just 25-years-old. He looks to finally be the striker fans have been waiting for.
It’s no secret that Norwich have been looking for a new number nine, Oliveira has now become that man.
He is expected to make his debut after the international break, against Cardiff City.
