Bamford has offer from Norwich
According to the Daily Mail, Norwich made an offer for Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford.
The report says that has already recieved offers from Norwich, Aston Villa and Wigan. However, the three Championship sides are set to miss out on the striker as he eyes a move to the Premier League.
Burnley are thought to be closing in on a loan deal for Bamford, which will come as a blow to Norwich, Villa and Wigan.
Bamford spent the second half of last season on loan at Norwich from Chelsea, but only managed two starts as the club were relegated from the Premier League. Bamford failed to score a single goal, but that hasn’t stopped Norwich going back in for the frontman.
The 22-year-old is proven in the Championship and Alex Neil may see him as a good foil to play off a big number nine, with Nelson Oliveira poised to join the club.
