Aston Villa have rejoined the race to sign Fulham striker Ross McCormack, according to Pat Murphy of the BBC.

The BBC journalist has claimed that Aston Villa have revived their interest in McCormack, implying that they will now challenge Norwich for the forward’s signature.

There have been many conflicting reports in recent weeks regarding the McCormack to Norwich transfer. It has been claimed a fee was agreed, that was then quashed and now it is claimed that Fulham are holding out for £15m.
Villa are also looking at Patrick Bamford, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Norwich. Alex Neil was thought to be considering another move for Bamford earlier this summer, but that interest hasn’t grown since.
Norwich may now need to act fast on McCormack, or they face losing out on the prolific forward.
