Norwich agree fee for Reading midfielder
Norwich are currently in the process of wrapping up their first signing on the summer in the form of Reading midfielder Aaron Tshibola, according to the Mirror.
They report that a fee in the region of £2m has already been agreed by the two Championship clubs for the 21-year-old.
But the Canaries are not the only side believed to be keen on signing up the London born midfielder, with Scottish champions Celtic also keen on bringing him in.
New boss Brendan Rodgers has been tipped off on Tshibola by his new No.2 in Glasgow Chris Davies.
Davies left the Royals, where he was first team assistant, to join Rodgers at Celtic Park.
While he’s only made 13 appearances for Reading, he’s featured more up north in two successive loan spells with League 2 side Hartlepool. He made 23 appearances for Ronnie Moore’s side, although he’s yet to score a single goal in his professional career.
He also has a sole cap for England at U18 level, coming on as a second half substitute in a 1-0 loss to Belgium back in 2013.
It’s fair to say Tshibola is yet to set the world alight in the early years of his football career, but this step up could prove to be what’s needed to push him on to make a name for himself. And for a measly £2m, it’s worth taking a punt.
Should Norwich sign Tshibola?
Yes
He’s young and cheap, worth a punt.

Our midfield is packed with quality already.
