Norwich have been dealt another crushing blow in their relegation scrap as they lost 1-0 to Arsenal at The Emirates today.
Danny Welbeck came off the bench to secure all three points for the Gunners in the second half. Oliver Giroud headed the ball down to Welbeck, who was poorly closed down by Sebastien Bassong and was allowed to strike into the far corner of John Ruddy’s goal.
Alex Neil set Norwich up with Cameron Jerome up front, which didn’t work out for the millionth time this season. Norwich have now gone three games without a goal scored and without a single point gained, now sitting second from bottom in the Premier League.
Norwich have won just three matches since the turn of the year, that dreadful form has been the reason behind Norwich’s seemingly inevitable return to the Championship next season.
