Norwich’s abysmal 3-0 defeat at Carrow Road in Saturday’s early kick off completed a hat-trick of defeats to all of their relegation rivals.

While City had the majority of the ball in the early stages, they failed to make anything of note happen. And that tone continued for the rest of the game, as Alex Neil’s side completely lacked any confidence or skill to create anything in front of goal.

Sunderland looked just as poor as their relegation counterparts, but showed just enough quality on the counter attack to punish Norwich and condemn them to a now likely relegation back to the Championship.
