Alexander Tettey’s injury that he suffered against Chelsea on Tuesday is set to keep him out for the rest of the Barclays Premier League season.

Speaking to Norwich City TV, Norwich boss Alex Neil confirmed that Tettey will undergo ankle surgery, that will likely keep him out for the rest of the season.

The Norwegian had similar problems before, which required ankle surgery on his other leg.

Alex Tettey has hurt his ankle ligaments. It’s not good news, but we’ve got strength in depth in that area.

Neil also spoke about the game on Saturday against Swansea, talking about how important the game will be and how Norwich can win if they keep playing as they have been.
