Wes Hoolahan and Sebastian Bassong will have late fitness tests for the visit of Chelsea, as Alex Neil confirms that they still aren’t 100% ready to return to the side.

Both players missed out as Norwich suffered a crushing late defeat against Leicester on Saturday, but Alex Neil confirmed in his pre-match press conference that the injuries weren’t serious, and were just “wee niggles”

Andre Wisdom is also unavailable, as the Liverpool loanee still suffers from a knee injury.

Patrick Bamford will miss the game as he is unable to play against his parent club. The youngster, who is yet to make a start for Norwich since joining on loan in January, will be hoping to make an impact in the coming weeks.

In terms of Chelsea, Manager Guus Hiddink confirmed in his press conference that he may rest star striker Diego Costa in one of the blues’ next two fixtures. This could mean that Norwich don’t have to face the Spaniard, who scored last time the teams met at Stamford Bridge.
