According to The Express, Leeds United are ready to re-enter the race to sign Norwich City striker Kyle Lafferty now that the Football League emergency loan window has re-opened.
Leeds were consistently linked with a move for Lafferty during the transfer window but Norwich were thought to have rejected their advances of a loan offer. Norwich were interested in Lafferty leaving on a permanent basis.
Lafferty is currently behind Dieumerci Mbokani, Patrick Bamford, Steven Naismith and Cameron Jerome in the pecking order at Norwich and is looking for a loan move to gain some playing time ahead of the summer.
The Northern Ireland international is almost guaranteed to be in his Countries squad for the European Championships in France in the summer. This means that he needs to be getting game time so that he can keep himself in top shape to help his Country.
Leeds look the likely destination and a loan move could surface in the coming days.
