Ricky van Wolfswinkel could be recalled from his loan spell at Real Betis, according to AS.
Norwich’s record signing has been on loan at the Spanish club since the Summer but has failed to make much of an impact for Los Verdiblancos, only scoring twice so far this season.
Betis is the second club the Dutchman has been loaned out to since his disastrous first season at Carrow Road. Last season Ricky joined French Ligue 1 side Saint Etienne, where he only scored 5 goals in 25 appearances.
Ricky’s lack of action for Betis could see Alex Neil recall the striker from his loan spell, with the £8.5m man possibly being used as a backup striker, especially after the departures of Lewis Grabban and Gary Hooper to Bournemouth and Sheffield Wednesday respectively.
He could have the chance to prove his doubters wrong, especially after an awful first season at Norwich, where he only managed 1 goal all season. He did score in the League Cup this season however against Rotherham.
