Norwich scouting Italian midfielder

According to Italian news outlet Blasting News, Norwich City had scouts in attendance at the Serie B clash between FC Crotone and Novara.

It is believed that they were watching Crotone’s left-midfielder Bruno Martella. Martella, described by some as the best left-sided player in Serie B, has been with Crotone since July 2014, when they purchased him from Sampdoria.

Norwich were not the only club to have representatives watching on, as Italian sides Genoa and Atlanta are also thought to have been at the match. A scout from Spanish giants Atletico Madrid was also believed to be at the game.

Martella has appeared in all but three games this season for Crotone, and scored twice. He has also been an impressive creative force, chipping in with eight assists.

He was part of the side that enjoyed a cup run in the Coppa Italia, making it to the 4th round where they were defeated by AC Milan.
