Norwich City are ready to make a move for Palermo midfielder Oscar Hiljemark and beat Southampton and Everton to his signature, reports The Daily Star.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been in impressive form in the Serie A for Palermo this season and that has brought about a lot of interest. Fellow Premier League sides Southampton and Everton have also been credited with interest in the midfielder
Alex Neil is looking to add a bit more quality to his side in the middle of the park and a move for Hiljemark could be just what he needs to improve the side. The Swedish international only joined Palermo in the summer so it could take a big fee to take him away. His manager is set to have talks with him regarding his future on Monday.
Having just penned deals for Ivo Pinto, Steven Naismith and Timm Klose, Neil could be looking to add another star name to his list of January arrivals. Norwich are certainly going all out to stay in the Premier League and this would be another big step in the right direction.
