French U-21 striker Sebastien Haller is set for a £6.5m move to Carrow Road, according to the Mirror.
Haller is reportedly due for a medical at Colney this week, ahead of the move from FC Utrecht in the Netherlands.
The Frenchman has been in top form so far this season in the Dutch Eredivisie, scoring 11 goals in 17 appearances for Utrecht.
Aston Villa and Sunderland were interested in signing the French U-21 star, but it looks like Norwich have beaten their relegation rivals to his signature.
In advance of Haller’s arrival in Norfolk, Norwich have told Kyle Lafferty and Gary Hooper that they can leave Carrow Road. Hooper is currently on loan with Sheffield Wednesday, and their head coach, Carlos Carvahal, has recently expressed interest in signing Hooper permanently. Lafferty has interested a lot of clubs in this January window, with Leeds United the likely destination for the Northern Irish striker.
