According to Calciomercato, Norwich were one of three Premier League clubs who went to watch Palermo midfielder Oscar Hiljemark.
Everton and Southampton were also thought to be out watching the Swedish star, who is just 23-years-old. Hiljemark joined the Serie A outfit from PSV last summer but is now being linked with a move away after just six months in Italy.
He has scored three goals in 19 Serie A matches this season and has really impressed in the middle of the park for Palermo, leading to inevitable interest from clubs across Europe.
Norwich will have to stave off interest from Everton and Southampton, who are both looking to add to their squads if they want to land Hiljemark’s signature and bring him to their side.
With Gary O’Neil and Alex Tettey currently occupying the central midfield roles, Alex Neil will want midfielders with more Premier League quality to help keep the Canaries in the league.
