Norwich City have been linked with a swoop for Paraguayn striker Oscar Cardozo, who plays for Trabzonspor in the Turkish league.
Cardozo was runner up twice in the Europa League in his time at Benfica in Portugal and scored over 100 goals in under 200 matches for the Portuguese giants. The 32-year-old has been linked with a move away and along with Norwich; Everton and Serie A side Lazio.
Norwich were linked with Cardozo in the summer window and now may be ready to go for him this month as they look to make signings that can help them stay in the Premier League for next season.
The Canaries already made their second signing of the window today when they signed Ivo Pinto from Dinamo Zagreb for around £2m. With many strikers linked to Norwich, the chances of Cardozo being the one that joins are slim, however, he may still come to England for the first time in his career.
