Norwich reignite interest in Spurs youngster

Norwich have reignited their interest in acquiring the services of Tottenham’s Alex Pritchard when he returns from a lengthy injury this month, according to the Mirror.

Alex Neil was reportedly interested in signing the England Under 21 international on loan in the summer, however, no move materialised and Pritchard stayed at White Hart Lane.

Pritchard has been out of action since October after having surgery on his right ankle to heal the injury he suffered whilst in action for the England U21 side against Sweden at the Euro U21 Championships in the Czech Republic.

Norwich reportedly see Pritchard as a successor for Canaries Hall-of-Famer Wes Hoolahan, who now rarely see’s out a full ninety minutes. Pritchard would add depth to the position and also add some much-needed quality.

Pritchard was on loan at Brentford last season, where he managed to make the Championship team of the year, and impressed on multiple occasions.
