Sky Sports and affiliated journalist Paul Gilmore are reporting that Norwich have received an enquiry from at least one Greek club about the availability of Northern Ireland international Kyle Lafferty.
The 27-year-old is out of favour at Carrow Road, tweeting about his frustrations of being left out of the side that won at Rotherham last week.
Not included in the squad for tonight’s game against Rotherham, but I am back full fit and buzzing to get on the pitch again. #ncfc #GAWA

According to twitter account Greek Footy, the interested party may be AEK Athens. The team, who won promotion from the Greek second division last season, might be interested in Lafferty, but it is unknown whether or not the move would be permanent or a loan. Lafferty only joined Norwich last season from Italian side Palermo. He made twenty appearances for Norwich, scoring two goals before making a loan switch to Turkish club Çaykur Rizespor where he managed to score two goals in fourteen appearances.

Lafferty’s chance at first team football at Carrow Road may be on hold thanks to the imminent arrival of striker Dieumerci Mbokani on loan. So a switch to Southern Europe may be his best option.
